That's because your twin plate fell apart. Wasn't due to wear lol

Eh ? It was only on the car 6 months ! It didn't fall apart at all, it was still intact when it was changed cause ralfy els mate had it off me and changed the plates for his car. :)

there isnt an inspection hole for the clutch, all you can see in the hole is the release bearing, but if that had failed you would know about it. as rob says pop it into 4th and floor it, the more the load on the clutch the greater the chances of it slipping are, and if it is slipping and making a funny noise and has been for a while i would keep drfiving to a mimimum to avoid a roadside embaressment as a ubaru drives past you with hazards on

Its a weird one this. it dont slip at all when im in a higher gear ie 4th when i boot it, but when i set off clutch control it makes a weird noise, but it defo is slipping as i was on a hill yesterday and it stalled, so had to give it loads of revs :thinking:

iv got the money now, and if i had the stuff to do it myself i would but tbh i really cba. so ill pay someone to do it.

yep i am the same when it comes down to fixing cars is to pay a decent garage to do the work with me providing the parts hope you get it sorted soon :)

Thanks mate i was supposed to go to Evotune yesterday but i was in bed all day feeling rough :( own fault
