Sidelights on, switch off. Fog light fixed...

As per title, decided to find out why my rear fog wasn't working after knowing about it for around 10 months.

Found one of the 3 wire spade had come off the switch on the dash. sorted that out and now i have a problem where my sidelights stay on, the back lights are on aswell... been outside on it listening to music while working on it for both yesterday and today, would a worn battery in need of a charge cause this to happen?

err....took me about half hour to notice i knocked the front fog switch. thus the sidelights staying on. The bulbs in the front fogs are dull and you cant tell if there on in daylight.
