rod ratio 2.0l

hi just looking in to building a new block next year and trying to get some ideas of what i want .

i saw the post on the 2.0 v 2.2 stroker which was great ,

but i have come across some info on rod ratio's and how the longer the rod / shorter the piston the better even on a 2.0l .

so for a road car every day driver with bc272 cam's and a tomei m7960 20g turbo

what do you think would be better .

a standard 2.0 , long rod a 2.0 or a 94 / 100mm stroker . what really works ??

There's a good few threads over the road on this subject in one way or the other...

Personally I'd stay 2.0ltr and just go long rod. Makes it a more revvy engine due to less side pressure. More revs means more power/torque
And it eliminates the need for a stroker crank as you use the std. So saving money
