I thought it was a new-age Robot Wars and when I saw the robots I was like "damn!" LOL It's all BS though. The robots are build by the show and the people "control" them remotely to do the fighting. By "control" I mean they can make them swing a punch. However who wins is decided by the program makers, as they can trigger fake sparks to show "big hits" and make the robots malfunction....usually making it squirt what is supposed to be vital fluid like hydraulic fluid, but it's just a special effect. The contestants then have to try and "fix" their robot.

I only watched one actual fight and it was enough for me. Too fake, too staged...needs more
