restrict my evo

hi there just imported a evo 4 with all evo 5 bits and kit , but restricted to 112 is it good idea to get limiter off or does it start to cause probs as car never been over that 112

Yep great to get it done.
No issue at all related to it never having done more than 112 but obviously only do it on a track
As is always the case make sure its serviced properly too.

When i first got my e4 i ordered a chip off ebay, its easy to fit, costs about £30 i think, removes the speed restriction and changes it from kms to mph.

if you plan on doing any power mods to the car, you need to change the ecu as the standard iv one isnt mappable. if i remember correctly you can remove the limiter with the new ecu. you either want an evo v/vi/vii one, or an aftermarket one
