I think this is a bit of a, how long is a leangth of string question

But if I was to get my car resprayed the same colour to fix my fading paint, how much should i look to pay.

Would having it resprayed another colour cost much more?

I've heard a ful respray including the insides etc would be around the £2-3k mark, but If i'm keeping it the same colour would i need to do it would I?

Would the savings be worthwhile?

Well if you know the garage is respectable and has a good rep then id say any type of means to pay is ok,

as fpr the colour, it depend if you are getting it done the same colour, are you having it stripped right to a shell or just the outside,door shuts,behind door cards ect? as dont forget the cost is in the prep, paint cost next to sod all to supply, i had mine done just the outside done as it was Green, and wanted it back to black (factory colour) and it cost me £1500 and was done to A high standard, but like i said it was a mate who did mine so got it cheaper than what it should have been id say.

But if you was to change to a different colour then it would have to be stripped to a shell if you wanted it done properly

I'd keep it the same colour, and just the outsides most likley.

I suppose its more of a all over fix than a respray

Speaking as a car restorer I would say this:
1: you get what you pay for
2: any car sprayer who is any good will be willing to show you their work and put you in contact with previous customers who can vouch for their work.
3: price will depend on lots of factors, like number of dents, any rust, cracks in plastics etc and therefore no sprayer thats any good will quote without having a very thorough look over your car.
4: get as many different quotes as you can, the most expensive may not be the best, but the cheapest will rarely be the best.
5: change of colour is muck more labour intensive because youd need all the door shuts, inside the doors, etc doing and that requires a lot more of the car to be stripped (doors off etc) for a proper job
6: if a sprayer quotes X amount be prepared for a little over spend as even the dogs bo##ocks paint sprayer cant always forsee problems such as paint reactions due to what horrors that may lie beneath!!!!

Having said all that and probably put you off having it sprayed, I would have thought the average evo could be done to a very good standard in most colours for between 1500 to 2500. I know thats a wide estimate but as I say, so many variables!

I suppose the second question is where are good places around bristol?

The only place of is Worle motors down in Weston and they quoted 'several thousand'

If you just fading paint best to try getting the body shop to buff and polish . Should cost about 100 but will bring the colour out. I got mine done for 900 it was not to bear shell but all the part that you can see, inside the car but he did take a month. Mine had rust scratches ECt.

I've been told its to far gone just to be buffed out.

There's also a dent that needs to be pulled. And as every panel is a different colour atm colour melding it would be impossable.

Just got back form a few body shops

Apparently its had the buff and polish treatment a fair few times already - its right on the edge. Looks like a respray is more or less the only option.

I also took it back to the car dealer who just stopped himself before saying he mis-sold me guardx.

Starting to worry what else they didn't tell me about the car now. Already found the modded exhaust they didn't tell me about.

Turbo tube keeps popping off to no matter how tight I make the butterfly clip (Its got to the point where i always carry a spare clip and screwdriver)

A nice under warranty Hyundai i10 sounds good right about now >.<
