i changed my exhaust system a month or so ago and just like with past cars i thought the rear lambda was just there as a fault sensor and didnt actually alter the mixture, so i tied it up out of the way, the car was in a mitsi the other day having something looked at and they said that it has to have the sensor in place to deliver the fuel correctly, that it actually measures between the 2 sensors to calculate the mixture, they said if i keep it this way then its running too rich. does everyone know this? im getting a boss welded into my exhaust asap so i can re-fit the lambda!
