Well I think my clutch has gone will not go into any gears so how much is this gona cost me u rekon???pissed off was due to go on the rollers next Saturday angry!!

what type of clutch are you after?

fitting it yourself or trader?

what power you running and how do you use the car? road/track etc

all the above will have an effect on the kind of costs your looking at.

Car is used as a weekend run about believe its about 330-350 bhp but this hasn't been confirmed and want it s cheap as chips

providing you dont 'launch' the car then you should get a clutch for about £250ish and I should imagine about the same for fitting.


best bet is to ring round some of the local evo specialists and see what deal you can get.

Didn't get new pump as el thinks it has one,he's not on line yet either but cars up for sale when its fixed anyway

Was supposed to be ajec racing in gloucester an selling it because its only a weekend car an now the things gona relieve me of fivehundred quid or more an moneys tight at the minute

mate dont fall out of love just because your clutch has gone,,

I know its easier said than done,,

I guess around 500 or so is big enough to fork out,,

But you will have regrets if you do sell it

Personally I think at this stage that it may well be the slave cylinder.

A bit iffy how the car has just stopped going into gears all of a sudden especially the way that you drive buddy

I think that Geof has a point on that a mix and match might make it cheaper to get it back on the road.

Run that test that I advised and let's see how you get on in the morning buddy.

i know mate thanks for advice but more annoyed that the possibility is that it wont be done for the rolling road
