Billy MR Well-Known Member Messages 2,630 Location Norwich Jul 9, 2013 #13 Thanks, I'm in two minds at the moment what to do sell this year and buy a built car or spent it on this one? I'm going to be thinking about this towards the winter Ideally would like a evo 8 550 bhp reliable so I can do some track time

Billy MR Well-Known Member Messages 2,630 Location Norwich Jul 9, 2013 #17 Impreza and Clio 182 was a few years ago, my evo I think is to nice to track
DDS789 Well-Known Member Messages 1,430 Location South Yorkshire Jul 9, 2013 #18 Yeah probably is too nice, but you do know it. Tough decision. You don't need 550 though, if I was to go for it I'd chase 450 with loads of torque and fast spool

Billy MR Well-Known Member Messages 2,630 Location Norwich Jul 9, 2013 #19 I know 450 is enough, what ever I decide to do I think I want it done to be reliable.
DDS789 Well-Known Member Messages 1,430 Location South Yorkshire Jul 9, 2013 #20 Just over spec it to make it reliable and use someone good, get intouch with Simon@NTS for advice he really knows his stuff. A ready built engine slotted into yours would be ideal.
