Oil pressure gauge help

Bought 1 from a mate there
he only landed with it tonight there
but no insructions

all i have is

gauge
oil pressure sender
few tiny washers/bolts an a big nut all shown below

I do believe the send unit has to screw into the oill filter housing somewhere!

Then it's just a case of a live,earth and a illumination feed to the gauge!

yea but 2 reds, 2 blacks and a green lol
1 red an black are kinda on their own, then the other 3, ( green, red an black ) are on their own

As above. There's 2 blanking plug/screws on the oil filter housing. The sender unit needs to screw into one of them (will probably need an adaptor to get the right thread) then run a wire from the sender to the gauge. Run a live to the gauge (easiest to get the live from the lighter socket feed) then run an earth and it should work.

yea but im left with 2 more wires

i got red + black thats kinda together
then red, green an black are together

no instructions so im kinda lost

I would guess the green would be for the sensor. The red and black will be live and earth to illuminate, then possibly the second red and black to either brighten or dim when the lights are on?

Just wire 12v to each pair of red and black one at a time and see what happens. Lol

yea an if 1 set of red an black light it up its just a matter of runnin the green to the sender?
