Oil Light On

Coming home from work tonight my oil light came on, this seems to only happen when the engine is idling. Oil was changed several months ago and has not lost any. Can any members point me in the direction as to what I should be looking at. Many thanks

Doesn't have a level sensor, I would be getting oil pressure checked and I wouldn't be driving it either

Can you give us a clue as to where this is located mate

Have been told it could be the pump or the pick up pipe but these were ideas from a Scooby owner

Could be an oil pump yes but oil pressure is to be checked first, oil pressure switch is located on the back of the block slightly to the right hand side

Something like this but this one goes to 500psi scalings a bit high, I would be looking for a 150psi gauge for accuracy
