Thanks for the welcomes guys.
The scoob - in all fairness was a superb car - it was a mark 1, and was 270/280 bhp. Felt great and mega grippy.
The evo feels way more brutal and aggressive. :)

I know what u mean... my evo ix is, I guess, bound to feel a little more refined given than my old sccob- it's a good few years newer...but the car i had before the evo was an e class merc...so getting in to the evo was seriously raw to say the least lol!
At the mo, the evo is banging when i go over any potholes or bumps in the road. Only on the passenger front side. Ive got new front shocks (standard bilstein) and new drop links...but cannot see what could be causing it.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the club Nick! been awhile since I seen your car.

You could have a lose top mount Nick. The roads won't be helping ;) I mean rivers.
