Newbie evo owner modification question

Hey

I own my Evo 8 & want to make it faster but not the biggest expert on evos yet so this is my modification list & just want to know what the next mods should be to upgrade to make it faster

Mitsubishi Evo 8
420bhp (as that's what I was told)
D2 8 Piston Calipers with 348mm disk and bells
Custom 3-1/2 inch Meercat exhaust (turbo back)
Fidanza flywheel
Exedy paddle clutch
Tien Coilovers
Poly bushed
New drop links
Track rods
Cv boots
Remapped by Ai Motorsport Ireland
Intercooler water spray
HKS mushroom filter
Red samco boost and coolant hoses
ARC Titanium heat shield
Cusco oil catch tank
AMS race battery
Evo 9 MR Turbo
Forge wastegate

Any help much appreciated

1st thing I'd do is get it dyno'd to know what you're got you can't go on someone's word!

420 is the limit anymore you will be seeing a rod out

What Billy said. If it's running 420bhp genuinely on a standard engine then it could be a time bomb.

way over the limit. you need to look at engine internals now

not forged? 420bhp? whats that knocking noise.....................

get it checked on rollers, and get a second opinion on the block if it is running close to that power, if its not forged start detuning then saving

Get it on the rolls and see what its making.

As said its all hit and miss running that sort of power, may last years or days. If the torque figure is the same you really are running a risk of it going pop.

thanks for the replys lads, it was mapped & dyno'd by AI motorsport in ireland who are meant to be very good evo tuners. But it is going on the rolling roads for a power run at RS tuning near me so i will see what it is really pushing
