Right, done about 100 miles today and £12 filled it full. :)

I started it up in front of me father in law and he said (a bit like a Roman Centurian would) throw it a couple of Christians.

Say no more on that subject.

It's utterly awesome.

Pics/spec tomorrow folks.

Just indescribably breathtaking.

def looks nice mate. i was looking at a red 8 for a very good price, but as i dont have a garage it would end up pink from sun bleaching lol.. def like the front end of the 8s, but prefer the ass of a 9.. may have to cut and shut when i upgrade :D

although my little 4 is plenty good enough for now, and when i put in the new turbo that ive had sitting here for about 2 months she'll be pushing 400 bhp 400 torque :D:D

I liked the front of me subaru Hawkeye but its ass was a fat landmark.

The ass of me 8 is much sweeter than the *spit* scoob.

Going to 400 bhp with a 4, does that not need new engine bolts reinforcement or summit ?

Am totally not sure as I'm new with Evo's - but will be reading up on it with the manual I got wi' me 8.

Cheers. Alan.

Ahhh.

Wondered about the bolts. On an invoice from PJ motorsport who worked on the car is a mention of ARP "rod" bolts I think it says - supplied and fitted at £275 !

Was the guy before me ripped off ?

Couple of other things done but can't read the writing properly - wonder if you can shed any light.

MKS SPF ? (wtf is that ?) £135
MKS M40G spark plugs ? £68
Mobil 1 15/50 + filter ? £59.99
Lambda Boss ? £11.75
APS BOV £250 (thought that dump valve may be on the hefty side - not sure)
Remap was £550 (about right me-thinks)
Mongoose exhaust £450
Walbro pump £175

Alan.

MKS M40G spark plugs - think there iridium plugs

Mobil 1 15/50 + filter ? £59.99 - oil

Lambda Boss ? - something for the exhaust i think

APS BOV £250 - yeah looks like a dump valve

Walbro pump £175 - very expensive fitting, you can get them brand new for £60, and should only take an hour and a half fitting time max
