Hey - a few things;
1) any south coast meets?
2) any tips on insurers? £740 fully comp is best so far. does that sound good/bad/normal for 1st year with this kind of car?
3) OMG! drove it home from bournemouth last weekend . been falling in love with Evo's for the last few months and now can't believe i now have one!

1) keep eye out for meets section
2) Sounds ok but more detail needed for comparison. Specialist insurers are best, Adrian Flux, Pace ward or Admiral are coming up with good prices

£740 is very good TBH! I was with Adrian Flux and I paid £750 fully comp, with 8 years no claims and a 1.6 modified civic!!!!

But TBH civic's are expensive now, my mate was gonna buy my civic off me, he was paying £400 for his supra twin turbo, the insurers wanted £700+ for the civic, go figure

I'm getting cheapest quotes of £1k for an Evo 8 and I'm 29 and 9 years no claims, no points or convictions! Must be cos I'm in shitty Blackpool :awesome:

Any recommendations of a relatively local garage that specialises in these sort of cars? I think i have a rear wheel bearing issue (that's what i was told by the guy who sold me the car). i'd also like to have it checked over in general.
