Mysterious NON problem !

Got me Evo 8 about 15 weeks ago. It developed a knocking from the front right when cornering left over small bumps. It got worse over time and I went for used car warranty. They have offered a percentage of the repair bill but now the knocking has disappeared

I initially thought anti-roll bar bushes but they just get worse the more they get worn.

Anyone got any advice ?

Q1. Shaft - yes, sometimes when I feel a bit frisky and the missus is up for it !

Q2. CV - my recent jobs have a good track record thanks !



Seriously though, this knocking noise appeared, then seemed to transfer over to the left also, then just stopped.

Been told track rod ends meaning removal of the steering rack and re-allignment etc etc. Then independantly told it's the strut tops

Havn't a clue now ?

had a similar problem on my 6 mate got worse over time i changed shaft no better then changed shocker tops drives mint now cheaper than everything else think they were 45 plus vat from agents.
