Here's a few photo's of my Evo 4

I've spent the last 5 days bringing it to the way it should look like and being white the paintwork was very dull almost a matt effect due to not being polished for some time, but now it's a gleaming white again thanks to my trusty DAS6.

Unfortunatly the sun hasn't been out for the last couple of days so haven't got any great reflection photo's yet.

Anyway its up for sale now at £4000 as I can't convince the miss's to keep it.

So what do you think?

Very nice!!!

I find that scratches are easier to fill in on the white ones!

Not if your names Dave, El. buff them all out. Should of got a pic the bonnet scratches couldn't believe they were gone and how shiny the paintwork is, flatest/dullest paint ive ever seen.

When I say fill in, what I actually mean is buff!

I find that on the white ones, it is very easy to manipulate the paint and move it around from surrounding areas with a little elbow grease.

I usually use G3, it does the job for me and then, after a wash down, I Auto Gleam it with the Resin Polish.

Stand UK spec/issue plate. Avalible from all good motor factor outlets.
In this case the previous owner Shelled out a bomb by going to his local Halfords.....Something i'd never do as they like to wack 'Halfords' Logos on their plates. which not only looks gash but cheap aswell.

Stick with an Import issue plate, your car isn't a UK model and never will be. One reason why old Evos are easier on the eye than the newer (UK spec) models.:whistling:

They are Standard UK legal plates.

You make me laugh Mark, they don't wack Halfords logo's on thier plates (not like other company's do),infact they are the only company I know that dont stick a huge logo of the company that made them on the plate,

All UK legal number plates must have the number plates manufactures name (& numbercode) on them, but Halfords have there's in the reflection tape and is very small, so can only be seen up close and at certain angles or when there's a lot of light shining on them.

Hard to explain but here's some pic's of what I mean.

Halfords Number Plate (I can't see any Halfords Logo, can you?)

Other Number Plate

Also there is one benifit of fitting a UK number plate to the front; alot more cold air gets to the intercooler!:)

When we picked it up the first thing i saw was halfords on the plates, i'd prefer having a proper garage than halfords. Infact if i ever needed/had to have halfords pates on my car(s) i'd demand they dont print their logo on it. must be because i'm an RS owner and you all kow how fussy we are how our cars look. I even had 24 year old plates on my RS that were worn, i forked out £35 to have a replacement dealership set made up for me. then i forked out £20 for a dealership window sticker and tax disc holder.
