I do not think that it is doing harm to the engine buddy.

You are a very cautious driver and as long as you take it easy I do not see anything going wrong at all.

When you go to CPR. just try to keep the car below 4000 revs all the way there.

It could well be, but without datalogging it, it's impossible to say for sure.

Have you turned the boost controller off to see if it does it then ?

rauffy has disconnected the original solenoid now i think so i dont know what would happen if i switched it off.el can u have a word with rauffy and see what he says please

If you switch the controller off, the set up will still remain active, i.e if you are running the programme A at 1.2, when you switch the controller off it will still boost up to 1.2 buddy.

thought there would be a good explanation as to what is going on.

.....goes to show that when a car has had a map setup then nothing should be altered again without another remap or at least a map check.


as said the only way to know for sure what is happening is to get it logged on the road (car/map will perform differently on the rolling road)

best not to drive the car hard for now in case it is a knock issue, but will be totaly fine to drive steady.

if your still running a standard actuator then turning the boost controller off should run actuator pressure (approx 0.8bar) so is possibly a good idea to do.
