Lost gears

Hi guys, i have a problem, i was driving along enjoying my ride today and when i went to pull alway at the lights i found out i only had first gear.
after jiggling the gear stick i finally found 3rd gear only.
after getting it home i found the problem to be a bracket come loose so i wedged it back on and the gears were fine for about 2 minutes.
how can i get the brackets shown in the pic to stick and stay put without it coming off again. Many thanks in advance

Weld them together. Evo 5 onwards runs a solid bracket anyway

I drilled the bracket and put 2 self tappers through it,worked mint.

Weld them as said best long term option. If you don't have a welder pull them off take em to a garage and show the garage what u want done it will take them 5 mins and cost u a tenner for their effort
