lancer evo 8 acd malfuntion

i have been preping a evo 8 for competition , and i noticed that the 3 diff lights(tarmac, gravel,snow) keep coming on(indicating a malfunction) whenever i get up to about 3rd gear or more.....since the lights are on i dont think the center diff is working properly, the car also seems to be a little tail happy.....have anyone here experienced anything like this? do you know what might be my problem? thanks....

i have scaned for codes ,, the only thing coming up is something about battery backup malfunction, which i dont know if that has anything to do with the acd....the only time before now that ive seen this is once when i had removed the tps,and did not install it in the right position,,but as soon as it was properly set the lights went out......now every thing is to spec and im still getting the 3 lights comin on.....im stumped

the only code i seem to be getting from the ecu is,,,,,,P1603 Battery Backup Circuit Malfunction.............i have also tried to bleed the acd, and it works fine...i crack the bleed nipple and fluid trickles out,,i run the car in gear while turning the steering wheel and gently riding the brakes and the fluid sprays out,which to me indicates that the pump is working....i guess the wheel speed sensors are the only thing left to check now.....how do i do that?

i have solved the problem by measuring voltage output of the speed sensors while in operation and have found that 2 of them were giving a low reading....changed the 2 sensors and the problem is solved...acd works fine now

hey guys my name is ali and i live in dubai...i have evo 8 MR so far now there is a problem when ever i turn on my car 3 lights just appear, i had changes the ACD pumps!!! which cost me a lot but no use!!! problem is still there, so today i changed the sensors well still the problem is there, now i m feeling hopeless....so plz some one advice what i can do next.

first of all you went about this thing the wrong way,,now you may have waisted some cash.....the acd ecu needs a few things to be in place for it to work properly, from my experience, the steering angle sensor needs to be satisfied, the hand brake sensor, the foot brake sensor,, the wheel speed sensors, and the throtle position sensor,,all need to be in spec or you will have lights coming on indicating a malfunction....according to your post it seems the lights come on without the car even moving an inch,, so that would rule out the wheel speed sensors, check all other sensors to make sure they are within spec

thx kevin for ur response ....well now the guy who is is fixing he worked hard!!! all over now the thing is some thing like this lights come after few hours i mean drive around 30 min and turn off automatically is coming and going turn off turn on...now what i will do ?
