Kph to mph... Help needed and weird coolant problem!

Hi thanks for looking, firstly I really want to buy the kph to mph converter of ebay... Is this the one that screws/plugs into gearbox.. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=191353996755 if so where abouts as the only thing I have located looks like the reverse light switch?

My 2nd more important problem is my coolant bottle is empty... If I put any in the bottle it comes back out when driving, I tried draining the whole system and refilling and bleeding etc like you would with any car to no avail it doesn't over heat and the heaters stay hot on idle and during driving... Is there any other explanation or thing I can try other than thinking the head may be cracked and exhaust gasses are getting in there shooting it back out?

And I should post this next bit on another part I was reading however didn't see it resolved... The ayc is noisy if have been driving less like a grandad and then go round corners... The other post suggests draining and refilling... My ayc light doesn't come on or flicker when driving so is it normal or do I need a refill? Many many thanks.

Its only an expansion bottle so you should half fill it and it will fill and empty as it needs, sure there is no holes in it. If you pop your rad cap off you should have coolant to the cap.

Still empties itself and nope no holes! comes out of the overflow hose. only thing I can think of is exhaust is getting in there and when reving high its forcing water to come out of overflow... Then when let off it's sucking bottle dry.. I don't use the car that much as its my toy, but havn't filled it up again for a while and water is at top of rad and bottle is empty and no overflow problem unless I put any water in bottle. And that includes only filling to min.

Ill be honest thinking about it mine ised to empty its self as i was always topping it up and checking rad and was fine, but without even noticing it doesnt do it anymore..... Mines always got some in, i have put another rad in as mine was leaking but thats all i have dome to cooling system since

Just had a look at rad cap on my lunch as seen a link with same prob, my cap doesnt seem function properly, will change it see if my prob is solved thanks for your help though, any1 got any pics of where to put kph to mph converter/de restictor on gearbox?

Scrap that located it by unplugging things, it's at the bulk end directly under the start of intake manifold. Only problem being whilst I can unplug it and get no speedo just revs.... I took whole thing out to have a look where that manual converter would go and there is no chance that one will fit... Also being that there is a plug with 3wires that I had to disconnect to take it out and have a look im guessing mine is electronic speedo? As no cable that runs to clocks?!? Stupid questions I know but need answers none the less come on guys some of you must of had or have evo 4s that have mph!!!

Yes its a electrical speedo, not completely sure how the converter wires in, but got a sneaky feeling if you message rsvrob he will know and may have converter for sale
