Is it possible for a re-map to reset?

My 7 is starting to feel a bit sluggish when accelerating. I changed the plugs and leads today.
I'm getting it checked for a boost leak and having a boost gauge put in next week along with checking the actuator.

A buddy asked if it was possible that my remap reset and I didn't know so I'm asking you lads.
My boost was upped so the boost gauge should let me know anyway.

Nope, there used to be rumours about disconnecting the battery wiping maps but it was nothing more than a rumour. Unless the ecu is reflashed your map is safe
