I ordered my mudflaps and a carbon battery cover on the 20th Feb.

I've been chasing these up for the past month and this morning the postman puts a card through my door without even knocking.
Couldn't catch him and knowing this is the only thing i'm waiting for get the Mr to call the post office and try get something sorted .... start of my bad mood.

Try the sorting office and life is great again, the van has returned with my parcel and Im so excited when the guy passes it over (just in time to get them fitted for tomorrow) then i realise it's a little flat to contain the battery cover so I tear the packet open and my thoughts are confirmed, but i'm not that bothered because its the mudflaps I really want.

here's the ones i've ordered
Evo 1,2,3 Real Carbon fibre mudflaps

Heres what I have recieved:wtf:

Really, would you put these on your car?? I understand the weavings not always perfect, but the lacquers scratched, they look like they've been cut out by my kid sister and where's my logos? They're terrible and I haven't even got my battery cover!
I want to cry:cry::cry:, I want to drive to Chesterfield and beat him with them:mad::twisted:!!

Send them back and demand a refund is what I would do. Did you pay by credit card? If so you are protected, so if the seller won't co-operate, they will 100% defo get your money back.

This is why I always pay be credit card online.

For good quality carbon mudflaps go to FQ Performance. Quality will be top notch, but not sure on price.

Only problem is they can sometimes be a bit slow to ship, but if it's not with you in a few days e-mail them to remind them and they will usually get it sent out quick after that.

Thanks

I've never seen mudflaps up close before and thought mabe I was being too picky but your responses have confirmed my expectations weren't too high.
Hopefully they'll be understanding about it and refund me with no problems.

It just gutted me, it's worse because I didn't expect them in time for tomorrow so when they were almost delivered I got really exited and was so dissapointed.

Oh well, i've waxed the car and am feeling alot more relaxed and happier ;)

I'm sure like me you wouldn't mind the wait if your told about any problems they're having.

Struggling to find carbon fibre flaps now, Evo123.net all recomend this guy, and he only has 1 seller feedback on Ebay.

So looks like its carbon look-a-likes or polythingy ones :(

Help needed

Was wondering if anyone could offer me some advise re the above and paypal.

I have returned the mudflaps and enquired about the battery cover (never recieved). Was told the battery cover is no longer available and has been discontinued (yet they're still for sale on the website:hm:)
He signed for the return on the 6th April (took me a while to confirm the return address with him) but am now having trouble getting the refund.

I have recieved no correspondance back since the goods have been signed for and am getting a little irritated with the situation so I have sent 1 last email advising I will open a dispute on paypal.
I have checked with Paypal how to do this and it says the dispute should be made within 45 days of the payment being made.
I made the payment on the 20th Feb so it has gone over this period.

Should I just go ahead and open a dispute or is there anything else I can do to try and get my money back

Thanks
