How much road tax will it cost 2006 evo 8?

just bought a rare 2006 Model evo 8 gsr.
standard car registered april 2006
Any idea how much this is to tax?

Varies on whether there is a CO2 recorded against he car. Some imports got away with just being taxed as 2ltr no CO2.

im in northern ireland here so we dont use vosa we use dvlni?

Not sure, but if it's the same as for Scotland then you are in the high band £400+
March 2006 was the cut off here and England.

DVLNI do list the tax cost for cars with CO2 here - The cost of vehicle tax for cars, motorcycles, light goods vehicles and trade licences | nidirect

You will need to log book (or equivelant) for the CO2 value although on the mainland some post 2002 cars still didn't have CO2 (I had 2 that didn't) and I've even seen a 2006 import without one.

Without staing the obvious, any chance there's an old disc with the car (windscreen is a goo place to start lol) or maybe the previous owner knows?
