How do you sell a car?

Am i missing something? Has there been some change in the way you advertise cars in the last 4 years?
Ive got my Civic Type R to sell.
Ive had one dealer agree to buy, then to go bust between agreeing and then me actually being ready to sell.
One dealer agree to buy but never makes the arangements to come and pay and collect.
Its on Civic forums.
Its on PistonHeads.

It priced well (average price for year, miles and condition less a tiny bit)
And still nothing.

Im at a loss as where im going wrong!

On a side note, anyone want a CTR?

I know exactly how you feel. My Evo has been up for around 2 months solid now. It was up for £4,000(bargin) then i dropped it to £3,700(steal) now im letting it go for no less than £3,500.

Numberous of timewasters, Adverts going up on Forums, pistonheads, Gumtree and 2 insertions on Ebay first with just shy of 1,000 views and 21 watchers. Second time round round 650 views and 17 watchers. Not even 1 bid.

As mentioned above the performance market is bad, Celicaboy has just managed to sell his car after months of trying.

Tomorrow, ive got a man coming to put £500 deposit down on the car, after hearsay from a fellow RSOC forum member. Of all places to find a buyer, its somewhere where its not been advertised.

This buyer is getting a great car at rock bottom price.

It reflects the state of this Country at the minute I am afraid Nick, Nothing is selling and the market is at a standstill. If you dont need to sell hang on to it rather than taking buttons for it and regretting it later.

I have a gt4 celica for 1 month now about 1500 views on the ad no one came to look at it yet im selling for €2000 which is cheap
