Hks ssqv dump valve evo 8

Hi guys fitted a hks ssqv dump valve to my evo 8 today it's the type that's attatched to the hard pipe, do I need to remove and blank off my recirculating dump valve? Thanks

Yes, remove the recirculater and blank off the 2 bigger pipes then run the small pipe to the hks valve.

Thanks I run the small pipe to my hks but left the recirculating valve in seems to run with a lack of power

You need to remove the recirculate valve mate. If you have the small pipe routed back to your hks the the recirculate valve is probably dumping boost when it shouldn't be. Take it out and cap it off mate
