High Milage Evo's

Hi,

Just wondering what things to look out if buying an evo with high mileage? say around +70k. There are a few cars around with that kind of mileage up for sale but I'm rather reluctant to go for something that high, even with a FSH. Are there any common issues with high mileage evo's that would differ from non-performance cars? Cheers.

Depends as which evo your looking at? As 70K in a older evo ie 4,5,6 isnt that high in mileage but if you are looking at 8,9,10 then as already stated as long as its been maintained then should be good

it should be a no go if there is dirt and grime in any of the door shuts...........

na on a serious note, same as whats already been said do the usual checks and you should be fine, if there has been any mods done check em over recipts if pos so you know its all above board

As long as it's been looked after maintained well regardless of cost that's how I look after mine but only done 36000miles. Get an Evo specialist to check it out
