i am thinking of buying my first evo, dont have a fortune to spend, looking at or around the 6k mark, just wanted to ask the best sort of place to start looking, also things to look out for.

Hello mate, got my evo 8 gsr for about 6k in a very good part ex deal with a mk5 golf gttdi... its only got 51,000 on it with some service history, one thing to look out for is the three ayc lights on on the dash.....dont just buy the first one you veiw, i had to go and view a good few because i was on a budget and some were skips!! Also check for rust underneath and behind the fuel cap
