Hi all just bought an x and have a question

Hello I have just bought an 08 X
Every time I get out of the car eg paying for petrol and do not lock the car as I have passengers when I return to the car the hazards are flashing and can only stop them by locking and un locking any ideas as to why this is happening?

Dnt know the difinative answer but sounds like a warning telling you the car is unlocked, I guess it does it when the immobiliser kicks in

On my old Golf GTI (think it was a Clifford alarm) it had a valet mode so I could work/clean the car without it tripping the alarm. Yours sounds like its re-arming after a set time (30 seconds?) so if it had a valet mode you could just set that when people are inside?

My Evo self arms after 30 seconds so i have lock/unlock it when i fill up if someones sat in passanger.
