heat wrap???

:^^:hi all just orderd 60 ft of heat wrap for my manafold and down pipe any 1 done this ??? :wtf:
and any good ??

Yes. But make sure you've got good quality wrap, as it can go brittle and fall off in months if you've bought crap I take it you got the ties too? Remember to over lap it by 50% of the previous loop as you go round, that way you'll have a quality wrap

if you brought a black colour wrap, it'll turn grey then white, as above overlap the previous loop going upwards or downwards. then using ST/ST cable ties tighten every 15cm or so, having big gaps causes the wrap to loosen up too much making it pointless.
