Hi new to these high powered japanese cars. I used to basic TVR engines or old Porsches. Just bought an EVO 6 with :-
2.3 Stroker Forged Pistons
Evo 8 top end
760 injectors
Tommie Mac Turbo Titanium
Tommie cams
uprated ECU
Induction kit
and a Gizzmo boost controller.
I have looked at the 6 available settings on the controller and all but No 6 show no setting. No 6 shows 4.4.
I would like to set up the car for 3 settings 1st to run low boost for everyday driving, 2 for spirited driving and 3 for trackdays. I am a total novice to this and am having trouble getting my head arround the terms duty etc, etc. i as told that the car was dynode and was running at 380bhp on .6 boost and 410 on 1.7 boost. I think that 410 should not be stessing the engine too much with the spec it has, but what figures should I put into the gizzmo to achieve low boost, medium boost and high boost.
If it is beyond me is there somewhere near York that could set it up for me at a low cost.
