Gear change

Hello, I have had my evo X - 360 now for 4 weeks and I just don't like the gear box, I have had the car checked out by a Mitsubishi dealer and they say nothing is wrong but I get crunchy gear changes from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, the gear change is better if I am in 'full attack' mode i.e. high revs. Any ideas?

Not big on ideas with gearboxes but sounds like synchros or bent selector forks.

Is it under warrenty with the mitsi garage you've been to?

Best place to go is a local gearbox specialist if your gonna have to pay for it.

I know there are issues with them popping out of gear. Speak to antony@indigo-gt as I know he has just had this problem with his Evo X so is getting quite intimate with Evo X gearboxes now
