full 3inch exhaust with standard map

can i upgrade to full 3inch decatted without mapping?or are possible any boost cuts ,could it run lean or any other problems possible?

on a evo 5 completely standard apart hks catback and apexi filter

You should atleast get fuelling checked with any mods to intake or exit system!!
You'll soon find out if you have fuel cut....

thanks for reply rob,i have a wideband i will install too,my flexible on downpipe broke so ordered aftermarket elbow and downpipe,and already have a 3inch decat at home.so in your experience would it run lean and will have boost cut with such a mod?

It has the potential too fuel cut but the afr's will probably look better than std.

ok thanks,a rempa is on the list to do,but i need to change my standard downpipe as started leacking from flexi,and was thinking not to fix it but to buy a upgraded elbow and downpipe.was wondering if i can run it for a while without remap.someone says i can run lean,most says would be fine as is know to run rich as standard,hope i will not occur in any boost cuts in the mean while.i have already also at home a new walbro ,a 3inch decat and a wideband to fit
