What size front discs do the evos come with std.I have the volvo s40 and the parts from the early evo adapt to are volvo lol.The std evo callipers and front discs bolt straight on but im interest in bigger discs and callipers if they do any:)

You could go for a Brembo or an AP conversion but it will not be cheap at all even if you were to buy second hand.

Sorry mate i should have explained my self more clearly lol.The brakes from the early evo 3 and 4 fit the volvo s40 which i have.Do the brakes of the later evo fit the evo 3 and 4?Also what size discs do the evos use in std form from early evo to evo 9?Thanks for your help:)

EVO 3 and 4 pads are the same as EVO 5.....but later ones no....
standard discs size for EVO 7,8,9 are 320mm vented

Sorry pal you are wrong,,, Evo 3 and 4 pads are deffo different from the pads that go into brembo calipers on the e5 and above!!

The EVO 5 GSR has brembos but not the EVO 5 RS they have the same fitment as the 3 and 4.....

So would the callipers from the evo 8 fit the evo 3 and 4 with the correct discs

They would fit an e4 no problem,, You would just need longer bolts im not sure about the e3 if im honest:)

maybe a daft question but why would u need brembo`s on a volvo the engine isnt that powerfull to warant brembo`s

Agreed!

The Evo I has more than enough stopping power for your Volvo as you can go to at least 300 BHP before you even need to uprate the pads on the Evo I which means that you still have around 60 BHP to make up for.

Upgrading to Brembo's will just be overkill at the very least!!!

What sort of power does the std evo make?Also what size discs do they use on the evo 3:)
