fluids and oils (and wind deflectors)

Hi guys just bought an fq300 evo 8 and going to replace the 10w40 semi syn to 5w40 fully syn engine oil but what other oils/fluids are people using for gearbox etc any response would be great?

Also does anyone know if wind deflectors for an 04 would fit an 03 plate? finding it difficult from ebay sellers

Yes deflectors will fit the 789 all the same

I got my gearbox oil from mitsubishi for 30 quid but since then I've seen the same stuff at my local car shop. It needs to be 75w/85w GL-4 gear oil, although mitsubishi gave me GL 1-5 which covers all bases I guess.
