I got my evo 5 2 weeks ago and Im fitting a 3" japspeed downpipe and decat with a catback on Saturday, I've also fitted a Gizzmo ibc too but I'm wondering do I set this to 1.2bar stock boost levels? Then play with the gain? But make sure there's no spike Ect?

Also I'm wanting some pops and bangs and people mention drilling the sas bolt to 5-6mm does anyone have a guide for this?

As for the ecuflash, I'm wainting for geekmapped to come back online for a remap/base map!

I used romraider on my scoob, and tune that but Evos are new to me!

So any help would be appreacited thanks

You have exhaust with decat ,upgrade fuel pump, hks air filter,3 port solenoid,
New plugs, then get in touch with Simon@nts cheaper to map than Scooby fella

Thanks,

I've been told I can adjust my boost to 1.2bar with the ebc with all stock readings, and set overboost and make sure there's no boost spikes Ect!

I've got fit my walbro yet and finish of my intake ! This is just so I can use the car for the time being ?

Seriously don't play with the boost until it is mapped. The boost controller will tell you if you're spiking but it's not going to tell you if you're running lean or if the engine is knocking. Either could easily destroy your engine. The overboost setting isn't instant either, you'll still spike, just not for as long as you would without it. It's a last resort safety net and not be used as a form of control. It's like using the rev limiter to tell you when you should change gear :)

As Aidy has mentioned, you don't know if you have any underlying issues so increasing the boost could be costly, just leave it off.
