Mine was rust free when I got it 7 years ago bar a dodgy rear chassis leg which was repaired and it's been waxoiled a few times but beginning to go a bit flakey, also my fuel filler pipe is going so a plan for this year is to get the underside stripped and painted and change the fuel filler pipe...only did 240miles last year....

Two little patches on rear chassis legs where it is double skinned, outer skin trimmed back and patched. That's all on mine.

Took my V back to bare metal and it wasn't bad at all....a little bit of surface under the spare wheel well but that's expected
Now it's very well protected and will not see wet roads in future
