wanting to buy an exhust for my evo been quoted 500 for a custom job, can i get away with just putting a back box on it to make it loud and deep or will i need a full system??? please help

500 is blitz nur spec territory or HKs etc... custom jobs can be a nightmare sometimes especially when you have to keep going back when the weld joints crack id look on ebay mate and try and source a second hand system for around £350 ish

Edit...also if its loud your after the nur spec does the business

Try get some sound clips before you buy i like the sound of the blue flame my bros got one on his Glanza V and i have heard a clip on you tube on i think it was a evo 6 sounds nice and deep but i need to get the wife to buy me one still been told i cant ask again going to leave it a few day then begin the relentless pestering like i did to get the evo in the first place that took 12 months of constant nagging and sitting looking at picures of them

anyway i will look for the clip for you

cheers mate. spoke to jp exhuarst he said untill i have the money he will take the back box and some of the piping and just put a 4inch pipe to back on so will sound nice.

scorpion do a nice system from turbo back or cat back. i got one on my e6, sounds lovly and think mine cost £450 turbo back. plenty out therenever been happy with the custom systems i,ve seen, some ues ya original flanges etc

Nur spec R exhausts are nice, had them on Skylines before. Loud, deep and upset the neighbours too - what more can you ask for.

Its not just too make you exhaust sound "loud or deep". You should get the full exhaust system from turbo,inc Downpipe,de-cat and and de-cat back. I would sugest a 3" full system....this would help the car breath allot better and in turn give you more power.
