Exhaust question

I have got the hks which comes as standard on the fq 360 to me it is to quite and by looking underneath the car it does not look stainless steel all the way through as had a blitz Nur sec r on my last car and that sounded very nice.
So does that mean I would have to change the whole exhaust to get it louder

Simply no.
Just need baffles altered.
First is decat.
Then replace any center baffles.
Finally replace back box section with one to suit.
You can do one or any number of these until you achieve what you want. Beware that you'll probably need a remap

You say decat is the race cat not good enough that comes with the car

It's still a cat and restricts flow

I no that but if you can get 400 bhp off the fq 400 and that's got the race cat on why change it, it's a lot easier to pass the mot

The fq400 has other mods to accomodate

It can not be that hard to get the 360 to 400 and still keeping the race cat on just that my last car had a decat and can only take it to one mot place to pass with out it on I no that if I want pops and bangs the cat will have to go but at the moment am happy with the race cat in

Nice one I will look into it got to get my induction kit first as I miss the sound when change gear

You can just replace the back box for now if you want more decibels.

The other sections can be replaced at a later date to suit your needs.
