Evo x FQ300 - Communication system - can you connect your phone to play music

I have just bought an Evo X FQ300 and i am soooo excited. Just wondered if anybody knows whether you can connect an android phone to the communication system so that you can play music from your phone. I get that you can use discs and can store playlists from discs but all my music is on my phone and I dont really want to go to the effort of moving it all to disc and then on to the evo communication system. Please help a damsel in distress lol.

Also there is a small black round button next to the cup holders in the front console between the seats - if you press it a red light blinks once and then nothing else seems to happen - any ideas??? God knows what it is - could be the ejector seat????

D'not know about music from phone to MMCS.

The small button is used to disable/activate the audible alarm. For example, if the alarm developed a fault and would not deactivate you could silence it using this button. There is a car specific four digit pin code. If it was 1234 you would press the button -
Once pause
Twice pause
Three times pause
Four times pause
This would then silence the audible alarm.

If the pin code is not noted in your handbook/documentation then you will probably need to go to a main dealer so they can tell you where to find it. It is well hidden somewhere under the dash in the passengers footwell.

Hi,
The easier answer is the little black button with the red light. It disable the alarm. My X is sensitive to rumbling traffic so the alarm can go off if a truck goes past. What you do is turn the ignition off and within two seconds press and hold the button until the red light flashes. Then lock the car using the key in the drivers door. Unlock as usual with the bipper.

You can connect a phone to the video input behind the ashtray. I think I used white and red Jacks. A few £ for a lad from your phone off eBAy. Then select Aux. A bit of an old fashioned fix compared to newer cars but effective. I use the music server and just feed my CDs in. As most of my albums are on the database it has the track names. If not, you can type them in.
