Evoscan

Hi - Havn't done much with it yet. I have a Mini-ITX based PC to fit somewhere in the car and a flip up touch screen to fit in the dash to control it etc. I havn't received the screen yet to fit it though. I have run it on a laptop so far and just got to grips with getting it working. As I am new to Evo's I don't really understand most of the data!
Also I know my ECU has been re-mapped, induction kit, Blitz Boost controller, exhaust etc. so that might effect values anyway.
I did contact support to see if there was some kind of guide to the values and how best I could use them but never really had anything back. I believe the knock values are useful, but I don't know what they are telling me!! Isn't this to do with Octane levels?
I have found some basic tuning guides I have yet to go through that might help.

On the face of it, it looks cool. Loads of cool dials that you can fully customise or create from scratch. Also this version 2.5 reads fault codes and can activate certain things like injectors. AYC etc.

When I learn more I will keep you posted on progress!!

The project continues...

Hi Guys

The system is installed and pretty much working. I have also installed Centrafuse to control the audio and navigation side of things. I must say I am impressed with that software. Don't even have to worry about wiring in your iPod anymore, just bung it all on the hard drive. Its equalizer is pretty damn good too.
As for Evoscan its all working but I still need to learn how to get the most out of it. When I get more info on evoscan I will post again, in the mean time you can see the project so far here:-
