EVO IV engine replacement

hi all , i'm looking for some advice on which engine is best to put into evo iv as a replacement for my dead original engine , i don't want to put another IV engine back in , but am unsure what bits are interchangeable between the newer engines ,(V-VII),(i.e gearbox , manifolds , turbo , clutches , wiring & ecu etc) , also i need one that will give me a bit of reliability , and i'm working with a budget of £2000 - £2500 . Suggestions of what to go for and why would be great ,....

5, 6, 7 or 8 will fit with no probs. Most if not all the parts from later models will fit.
