evo engine into shogun

hi guys
im a new chap on here and am actually an impreza owner im on here to ask you guys for some advice please
a friend of mine owns a shogun and is looking to put an evo engine and box in to his shougun i personally have not heard of this before but apparently there is an evo unit that fits straight in if anyone can enlighten me on this i would be grateful

Gearbox is inline on the shogun is it not? So gearbox is a no no. Engine will go into a Pinin with a fair bit of work. Though the engine won't last long. A guy in Cyprus had one but it destroyed the 5 speed box within weeks at low power.

Can be done but would cost a fair amount of money, you would need a custom bell housing adaptor making for the gearbox and you would need to reposition the engine if staying with the oem Shogun box.

He could always buy my 500HP L200 :whistling:
