hi everyone, would value your opinions/feedback -
i have a 2006 fq360 with 18000miles that has an intermittent problem with clutch judder, it has the usual crunchy gearchange from 1st to 2nd when cold , but this clutch judder happens weather the car is warm or cold but not all the time but i have noticed that when its does judder the gearchange is not sweet even when the car is warm.
my dealer has fitted a new shaft of 1st/2nd/3rd gear under warranty and on inspection said that the clutch has plenty of life in it and to see how i get on. i dont use the car that often as its a second car but surely that shouldn't make any difference ???
also the brakes dont give as much confidence as i'd like - feeling like the pedal goes wooden after one hard use (like overheating) again dealer looked at this and said they were glazed from being stood around too much...
it is worth mentioning that although i have only owned this car since september and only covered about 1200 miles i did have a brand new evo 9 fq340 back in 2006 and the brakes were fantastic with the same useage (2nd car) and the gearbox issues dealt with the same (new 1st/2nd/3rd gear shaft) and car was perfect from then on - im just interested if anyone else is experiencing my problems and the dealer just doesnt want to know ???
look foward to your comments cheers keith
