Evo 8 Battery Connectors. Help

Im in the middle of upgrading my battery to a P680 and the Termanials are both M6 thread screws, so i have to cut off the old connectors and replace with washer type connectors, but im unsure on what the wires are for that im pointing to in the pics,
can anyone please help me, as im not sure if i need them or i can just not use them.

its ok to all the people which tryed to help.................:ninja: i had a brain fart, so iv orderd some termanial post that have m6 screw holes in the middle, so now cutting of wires and a neat job:razz:
