evo 8 actuator for stage one one ?

Hi all

Is it worth getting a evo 8 actuator for stage one on my evo 5 . Will it hold the boost better over a stock 5 one ? . not trying to squeeze every last drop of power out of the 5 just want the car to be 100% right first time and drive spot on .

New parts so far to be fitted :

3 ' turbo back exshaust
apexi avcr
evo 8 metal tomie recirculating dump valve
walbro fuel pump 255 l
k n with maf adaptor

any other suggestions ?

It will give you no difference, stock actuator on a 8 is 0.8 bar. Only advantage or running a forge item would be less duty needed on the apexi avcr.

Get it all fitted map'd and enjoy

Just had a call from apt I did need a new actuator as old one has a hole in it :-( so wont get car back till Monday .
