evo 6 rear diff

hi to all members; can anyone help me, my son owns an evo 6 which is 516bhp which he uses for track days, on a recent track day he blew the rear diff, iv been told the RS diff is a better unit???. is this true?? if so does it fit straight in and what other parts do i need many thanks.

The RS diff from what Ive been told (no actual experiance of it). You need the diff (obviously),half shafts and an alloy carrier and cradle.
