It is a very easy task to carry out the service that you are talking about.

I will get back to you on the jacking points in a while buddy as I am tied up with something right now.

As for the oil, you will be fine with Millers 10w40 semi synthetic.

El

Nice try Stu but MLR links do not work on evoowners;)

10 out of 10 for effort though:D:D:D

I know you meant well buddy!

You could have just gone to the thread and cut and pasted the text and then arranged it in a suitable order really.

Never mind, live and learn;)

Thanks for the help guys

Can't get on the guides for some reason.

Just few questions....how much oil does the car take?
What should be the spark plugs gap? and how tight (torque setting) should they be put in?

Oil; 10w40
Capacity; 4.5l approx
Plugs; .7
Torque; not too tight;)

Thanks for all the help guys....I carried out the service.....Plugs, coolent, Air Filter, Oil Filter and the oil.....it is one of the easiest I have done and car actually feels bit smoother! Think the plugs needed doing for certain!

Next week....I am planning to do the gearbox oil, diff oil and transfer box oil.
So any pointers and recommended oils to use?...also how litres I need will be great help?

Should the AYC be done by a specialist or is it something you can tackle yourself?

If you get hold of 5l of 75w90 you should be OK.

Draining and filling is easy enough.

As for the AYC, I suggest that you get it done by a professional.

Hi Mate,

I noticed El forgot to say that you need a litre front and back for your dif's, if you didn't already now by now. ;)

Cheers,
