Hi Guys,
So I've had my car up on the ramps, and where the rear sub frame mounts to the rear chassis box section there appears to be some lifting of the outer skin. By this I mean that the metal seems to point outwards slightly.
It is all undersealed and to touch does not move, it is rock hard.... but should this give me reason for concern? According to the cars history this was mentioned in 2007 as slight corrosion, but not of concern. However, 2007 was a while ago and now I'm concerned.
Is this a common fault? Should I be concerned? I was informed it was a triple skin, so if the outer skin is slightly peeled but the rest is all solid hammer and punch test.... should I be worried?
Thanks in advance.
