Folks, Ive just signed up & looked through some posts, what a great community. This is my 1st post on any forum, if anyone could shed some light on this problem id really appreciate the help.

I have an EVO 4, Japanese import, i got it over 10 years ago, it started & drove really really well, I stripped the car back to a bare shell, everything out with the intentions of get stuck in, so 10 years on...... I have the mass of wiring back in again and things were looking good but ..... I have the original key, fresh fuel, (pump is pumping) i have ignition lights, I have air, i have a spark and the engine cranks over but the injectors won't open, NOID light won't light. would there be a factory fitted immobiliser on an Evo4? If so can it be by-passed or can i wire the injectors independently or is it essential they talk to the ECU? (maybe a stupid question) Im assuming the car has the original ECU still fitted but I'm not 100% sure. Please excuse my ignorance, I'm not a mechanic and technophobic too which doesn't help. Man there's a lot of wires.
